Z.ai released GLM-5.2 on June 16, 2026 for long-horizon tasks. Its published upgrades include stronger coding, flexible thinking effort, and MIT-licensed open weights.
Context and output
Official documentation lists a 1M-token context window for GLM-5.2 and up to 131,072 output tokens. Those specifications must not be automatically attributed to GLM 5.5.
API behavior
The current OpenAI-compatible API uses model ID glm-5.2, supports streaming, function calling, thinking controls, and Max or High reasoning effort. Dreammmer has not connected it yet.
