AI Album Cover Generator

Type the artist name, the title and the genre, pick a style, and the AI designs a square cover with the title and your name set on it. Usually one to two minutes, 10 credits at 1K or 39 for a 4096 by 4096 release file, about $0.23 to $0.88. The cover opens in a chat where you can move the title, change the colors or ask for another direction. If a generation fails, the credits come back.

Make a cover

What is it for?

Style

The cover is made in a chat with the Agent, where you can move the title, change colors or try another direction. Release gives a 4096 by 4096 PNG with your title and name on it; downloads from a never-paid account carry a small mark that any pack removes. Check the spelling and your distributor's current artwork rules before you publish.

Real covers from this page

Each cover is an actual run of this page's brief, text included, nothing edited afterwards: three are 1K Explore runs on GPT Image 2.5 Flare, the acoustic EP is the 4K Release run on Nano Banana Pro.

  • Square PNG: about 1024 px at 1K to explore, 4096 px at 4K for release, which clears the usual 3000 px streaming target

  • Usually ready in one to two minutes

How it works

  1. Fill in the brief

Artist name, title, what the cover is for, the genre and mood in your own words, and one of six styles. Untick the text option if you want artwork only.

  2. Make the cover

Pick Explore (1K) or Release (4K) and start; the price is on the button. The model composes the artwork and sets the title and artist name in matching typography. Explore runs on GPT Image 2.5 Flare, Release on Nano Banana Pro.

  3. Adjust in the chat

The cover lands in a chat with the Agent. Ask for a smaller title, a different color, a new concept or three variations in plain words, then download the PNG.

Start from a brief, or from your own photo

From a brief

No photo needed: the artist name, the title, the genre and a style are enough. Unlike a template maker, this does not start from a preset layout: the AI generates artwork from your brief and places the title and artist name on it, and you refine composition, typography and colors by chatting with the Agent. This page does exactly that.

From your own photo

Open the Agent chat, attach your portrait and say which look you want, for example a vintage 35mm film album cover that keeps your face. The chat shows the price before you send, and you can keep adjusting.

Tips for a cover that works

  • Keep the text short: a title and a name. Long subtitles are where AI typography goes wrong.
  • Describe the mood, not a list of objects: 'late-night city, lonely, blue' gives a better cover than 'car, street, lamp, rain'.
  • Explore at 1K, then make the final version at 4K: same brief, a true 4096 px file, about four times the price of a draft.
  • Check it at thumbnail size. If the title is unreadable at 100 px, ask the chat for a bigger, simpler title.

What people use it for

Singles and albums for streaming

A square cover with your song title and artist name, ready to prepare for a release on Spotify, Apple Music and the other services: a 4096 by 4096 PNG that clears the usual 3000 px resolution target. Check your distributor's current artwork requirements before uploading.

Podcast and playlist covers

A cover that reads at thumbnail size, with the show or playlist name set large and one clear image.

Concepts before the final design

Three or four directions for one title in a few minutes, to decide a look before commissioning artwork or a photo shoot.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make an album cover with AI without hiring a graphic designer?

Fill in the brief at the top of this page: artist name, title, what the cover is for, the genre and mood, and a style. Press Make the cover and the AI designs a square cover with your title and name set on it, in about a minute, for 10 credits at 1K. The cover opens in a chat where you can ask for changes in plain words, so you do not need design software or a designer for the first version.

Can it put the song title and artist name on the cover?

Yes. With the text option ticked, the instruction tells the model to set the exact title and artist name in typography that fits the style, readable at thumbnail size. The page uses GPT Image 2.5 Flare for Explore and Nano Banana Pro for Release; both are built to render text as part of the artwork, but AI can still misspell or distort letters. Check the spelling before you publish and ask the chat to correct or move the title if needed. Untick the option for artwork only.

What size should the cover be for Spotify and Apple Music?

A square image. Distributors and streaming services usually ask for 3000 by 3000 pixels or larger; the exact minimums and file limits are set by your distributor, so check their current rules. The Release option here makes a 4096 by 4096 PNG, which clears the usual target. Explore at 1K first, then make the final version at 4K with the same brief.

Can I turn a photo of me into an album cover?

Yes, in the Agent chat rather than on this form: attach your portrait, say which look you want (vintage film, black and white, neon) and ask for a square cover that keeps your face, with the title and your name if you like. The chat shows the price before you send and you can keep adjusting.

Can I get several concepts for one title?

Yes. Make the first cover from this page, then ask in the chat for two or three different directions, or come back here and change the style. Each generation is priced separately, 10 credits at 1K, so three concepts cost 30 credits.

Is it free, and what does it cost?

New accounts get free welcome credits with no card, and the amount depends on your country. A cover costs 10 credits at 1K or 39 at 4K, so the welcome credits usually cover a first cover. After that the smallest pack is $9 for 400 credits, about 40 covers at 1K or 10 at 4K. If a generation fails, the credits are returned.

Can I use the cover commercially, and do I own it?

You own what you create and may use it for personal or business projects under our Terms of Service, including releases you sell, provided the brief does not copy someone else's artwork, logo or name. Check the cover before publishing: AI can still get letters, hands or small details wrong.

Does it work for podcast, playlist and mixtape covers?

Yes. Pick Podcast, Playlist or Mixtape under What is it for, and the model treats the title as the show, playlist or tape name. For a podcast, keep the name short and ask for it large, because the cover is mostly seen as a small thumbnail.

What if the text is misspelled or the layout is off?

Ask the Agent in the chat: 'fix the spelling of the title', 'smaller title, top right', 'more contrast behind the name'. Each adjustment is a new generation at the same price. If the generation itself fails, the credits are returned automatically.

What file do I get, and is there a watermark?

A square PNG, about 1000 pixels at 1K or 4096 at 4K, downloaded from the chat. Downloads from an account that has never paid carry a small DREAMMMER mark in the corner; any credit pack or subscription removes it, including from covers you made earlier.
